DHMO achieve SafeContractor accreditation

Safe-Contractor.jpg

DHMO are proud to announce that we have been awarded Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation, for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace!

Alcumus SafeContractor is the leading third-party accreditation scheme that recognises contractors for taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements and is used by thousands of organisations across the UK.

The SafeContractor accreditation assesses the health and safety competence of contractors and service providers. Under the scheme DHMO underwent a rigorous vetting process which examined our health and safety procedures as well as its track record for safe practices.

Companies who meet the SafeContractors high standards are included on a database that is accessible to all registered users via a secure website. From our client’s perspective, the SafeContractor accreditation provides evidence that we are meeting their relevant legal requirements and delivers confidence in our health and safety competence.

Dissolved Air Flotation for Wastewater/ Effluent Treatment

DHMO with another successful temporary DAF install, this time replacing a filterpress. The client in question struggled with the manpower required to operate their existing process, along with variability in the quality of filtrate delivered. Unlike the filterpress, which operates in batches, DHMO's DAF solution operates 24/7 with only basic monitoring required and consistently delivers high quality treated water.

Our equipment is available for outright purchase, short term or long term rental.

Rental Mud Cooling Systems

Efficient Alfa Laval PUMA mud coolers reduce potential health, safety and environmental risk factors and complications during the drilling process.

Built on decades of application experience, these dedicated modular heat exchangers reduce thermal stresses and provide better temperature control for mud processing and downhole tool accuracy, especially when drilling at high temperatures and pressures.

Prior to mobilisation, all of our coolers are pressure tested and have their lifting and gauge certificates renewed.

They are also overhauled periodically including; acid and alkali cleaning, NDT and replacement of gaskets with genuine Alfa Laval NBRP clip-on gaskets.

All of this is to ensure our coolers perform efficiently and with absolute reliability.

Packaged Mud Recycling System

DHMO's range of desanding units are used to screen solids from a variety of fluids including drilling muds, TBM slurry, wastewater and dredge slurry.

This is achieved via the following process:

- Fluid is delivered to a coarse screen which removes solids and foreign objects above 3-5mm, before fluid enters an under-screen catch tank - On-board pump delivers fluid from tank to desanders or desilters, separating solids down to 20-50 microns - Settled solids from hydrocyclone(s) are sprayed onto fine screen to be dewatered - Cleaned fluid is delivered under pressure from hydrocyclone(s)

DHMO's range of desanding units are supplied as complete packages, including control panel and catch tank and are fully plug and play.

Centrifuge Trial/ Rental

The below Alfa Laval MMPX403 recently returned from a trial with an existing DHMO client, having proved the feasibility of purifying our client's industrial waste oil via centrifugation.

At 1,000LPH, the unit was able to reduce water content from 500ppm to <100ppm and remove solids above 10μ, exceeding the client's requirements.

With a built-in feed pump, sludge pump, heater and controls, the system is entirely plug and play and is generally up and running within 2 hours of delivery.
