Onshore Land Coolers
DHMO provides a range of land coolers for geothermal drilling operations.
Drilling fluids are critical to the overall geothermal drilling process. Fluids can be exposed to temperatures of up to 200°C, leading to equipment or tool damage that can subsequently cause down-time. Although additives can be used, they are only effective below certain circulation temperatures.
The Benefits
DHMO mud coolers are used to moderate temperatures during drilling by cooling the mud, maintaining the mud rheology, which helps to protect downhole equipment (elastomers, seals and bearings) and mud pump seals. DHMO works in challenging geothermal environments, installing and servicing coolers in high temperature geothermal operations.
